Makes me Smile!

Thank you for the Picture Paula!

TGIF!!!!

What a busy good, week. I'm so thankful it's Friday...

This morning we left home early and went to pick up Kimber... It was still dark outside when we left! Then we headed to the High School. This morning was FCA. Kacey has been wanting to go but didn't want to go alone and the same for Kimber. Something about having to walk in alone and what if it's no one we know well... (teenage worry stuff!) So together they were ready to conquer the morning....

Kimber I think was mortified that I was snapping a picture before they went in, especially with "boys" watching... I think Kacey said something like "welcome to my world"!

So since this lady had to get up an hour early, she was treated to breakfast... her choice so we ended up at Papa's Daylight donuts!

I am sure she will be one wired 5th grader this morning!

Happy Friday!

See you at the Pole!

Today we got up a little early, got ready....

left a little early all for See you at the Pole.

~~ ~~

Gives me glory bumps to think about all the children around our country gathered around flag poles to pray and Worship our heavenly Father.

I'm teared up just typing it...

It makes this Momma very emotional..

After a debate on which school Momma would attend See you at the Pole with and with which child. We arrived and Grace and I sat in the lunchroom until time for the Elementary to start.

When it was time to start about 100 students and teachers and a handful of parents stood in front of the school and bowed to Our Father.

I was a blubbering mess. I wish I could control it more but there are times and days I can't.

So I prayed Lord help me to enjoy this without embarrasing Grace with her blubbering Momma!

Careful what you pray for! ;-)

Hearing those 3rd - 5th graders speak and recite verses and Pray...

Melt my heart, and I was NOT doing very well keeping my emotions in check.

Then I felt something close to my ....well you can guess.

See standing in pants and heels in the dew/wet grass I had a visitor, I pressed my hand on the top of my thigh thinking what is stinking me.... and it MOVED!!!! Glory be...

Trying to the best of my ability to stomp it down and wiggling my pants fighting the urge to run screaming and stripping as I stomped and danced. Grace opens her eyes from beside me with this look that said she had honestly thought I had LOST what is left of my mind.

I quietly said.... I've got a bug in my pants, her eyes were priceless.

so with one last wiggle and stomp out fell the largest Grasshopper EVER!

So See you at the Pole was awesome but be careful what you pray for because God

might just send you a GRASSHOPPER!

My view!

My View from my bedroom window, between the blinds..

may not be of the mountains or ocean
a lake or pond....

but to me it's more beautiful... Two sisters, hanging out, bonding and the older helping the younger with homework... I don't think I've ever seen a more beautiful picture....

Sunday!

I love Sunday's.

After watching a baptism at UG we left during fellowship time to make it to Mtn. View.

Greg has been involved with baptisms before, he was in the water and helped with Baptisms when our interim pastor was in poor health, he had the opportunity to help in Kacey's baptism.

But today he performed his first baptism, Solo - Just him and the Lord...

I'm very proud of him and I'm still amazed at how God is using him.

~~

then a lazy afternoon. I took a long nap!

Kacey went to a friends and Grace spent about 4 hours playing

have I mentioned how much she loves having the tree house!
See the sand pail to the left, it has a pulley and she can raise and lower things to the top, her own little Swiss family Robinson!

She is loving every minute of it

And we are enjoying watching her joy at such a small thing...

We're all finding joy in the journey, and the amazing thing is the more you look

for the joy the easier it is to find!

;-)

Just another day in paradise

no other place I'd rather be!

We ended our day with Kacey going to youth s.n.a.c.s.

Greg to church and Grace and I to AWANA's!

I love Sunday's!

Thankful Thursday!

I'm thankful for smooth mornings...

mornings when the radio plays the most wonderful Worship songs and you feel like it's just for you! Mornings where the water looks a little bluer,

the grass a little greener.

Mornings when you notice the mountains and the way the sun shines through the clouds.

Where you notice the small low clouds floating..

Mornings where you feel HIS presence so strong!

I'm thankful....

Thankful for the opportunity for one more day, to be MOM, wife and Friend...

Thankful for the chance to pray Lord help me to make a difference to someone today...

~~ ~~

Psalm 100
1Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.
2Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
3Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
4Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
5For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

Overwhelmed...

Ever feel overwhelmed like you just can't do it all?

Ever feel like you just can't keep up?

Maybe your not supposed to keep up, maybe you are just supposed

to live one day at a time... doing the best you can... ;-)

Love this Post and her outlook...

enjoy!

Love Lazy Sundays!

2 out of 4 Narrell's got Naps!

One played ball...

One spent the day on the between the trees Tree house!
One didn't nap but rested...

Love Lazy Sunday's!

Their Happy!

Awana's started back again tonight...

My role has changed dramatically.

With Greg's changing Role I prayerfully

gave up Awana Director this year.

I'm teaching T&T right now but that is

changing as well along with a few DOZEN other

things... So for now I ask you to pray. God's in control

but pray that we are obedient to his will. Our fear has

been replaced by excitement. That alone is HIS work.

In Christ Alone.

One day at a time..

trusting.....

Homecoming Pep Rally!

Our girls all lined up spelling Freshman!

Kacey participated in two competitions the first one was the hula Hoop... the freshman team won, the second below was the eating contest.... Let me just say it was NOT a good idea... Kacey was the first for her team got to the end and drew out the Peppers, let just say it ended badly.
The Brat pack...
