Thursday!

Thursday was my I'm not leaving the condo day....

Headed out!

Thankfully the waves were much calmer today and we could play.

We ordered Pizza and had it delivered to our room and watched a movie then took a night swim...

Staying at the condo nights are my favorite!

Wednesday!

All week the weather was beautiful except for the one storm Tuesday night but the waves were rough.... On Wednesday we say two injuries on the beach.

the canopy's next to us were a group, two families that had traveled together for 12 hours from close to Dallas. One family had a 10 year old daughter that the waves hit and she fall and broke her collar bone, the other family had a 16 year old that was braced for a wave and when it hit her ankle was caught in the sand and twisted it just wrong and resulted in both bones in her ankle broke! Yikes.. so we honestly stayed ankle deep.

Even at ankle deep, this picture probably captures the 1000 times I heard, momma, Ive got sand in my bathing suit.

Tuesday! Picture Night.

After a beautiful and restful day on the beach we had our annual picture night..

I know they don't love this but they don't complain, they humor me.

First we went into Gulf Shores to eat. Here are some pictures of the wildfire at the Gulf State park, it had been burning since last Saturday.

1st day of Vacation....

Weekend Re-cap!

Friday after Kacey's games we were going to the pool for a couple of hours and it rained so we napped instead, Saturday we swam for a little while and then we napped!

Saturday night we went to Amanda (Greg's cousin) and Jeremy's wedding, it was a beautiful service, we had a good time.

Sunday morning I was in the choir loft so Kacey my trusty photographer took these.

Grace and the children's choir sang the call to worship.

Greg received his License to Preach.

Greg has been so fortunate to be under Bro. John and Bro. Willis they have been so good to him and has encouraged him so much.

Now well just pray and serve and see where the Lord leads!

Then I took a nap! I've enjoyed these restful days!
