Signing her NLI!

After years... of prayers and a couple of weeks of humbly coming before God for direction, Kacey made her decision.  After offers from Huntingdon, SouthEastern, Union, Ogelthorpe, Johnson and a few others, some as far away as Pennsylvania and Indiana.  But in the end God showed up in a big way and opened a door so much closer to home and answered our prayers abundantly!  University of Montevallo saw her profile on NCSA and contacted her.  We never even tried there because it was a D II and they had one american and 5 international players.  But God showed who was in control and that his plan is perfect.  God is so good!  All the time.
So she recieved her official written letter on Monday, Nov 10 but could not officially sign before Nov 12 @ 7:00 am.   She had to sign between then and 7:00 pm on Nov 19th.  So, I ordered a cake and thought we would celebrate the weekend.   On Thursday Greg has school but his first class was cancelled so she wanted to go ahead Thursday night and sign.  We asked why didn't she wait and do it when everyone was there.  We had invited for everyone to come Sunday afternoon.
Kacey:  "Mom I just want it to be us.  I want to pray over it and commit this to the Lord and thank him for moving.  It's not about that for me"  Wow.  My girl is still showing me how to live life.  I'm so blessed to be their Mom.  So we did.  The four of us joined hands around the kitchen table offered our petitions for now and the future to the Lord and then she signed.  Then she smiled... she has peace!

So Friday Morning off it went.  We felt so official!  LOL!  It is crazy at the rules and things we don't know.  but we are learning.
