Sunday Night we found out Grace lost a friend and a teammate. She was devastated. One of those tough life lessons you wish your children didn't have to learn. One that shows life is short, time and people are precious. Enjoy each day. We spent all night Sunday night Crying and hugging. And what little we slept all four Narrell's were together. It was hard.
Monday, Grace didn't want to go to school but I thought she needed too. To face that first day and I am not sure I made the right choice but she went. Grace had 4 classes with sweet Taigen. So in four classes she heard a counselor announce to the class why they were without a schoolmate and friend. They walked together to a few classes and I think she cried all day. Then at basketball the counselor was there again and the talked and cried and went home. Tuesday was still hard, empty desk with cards and flowers a somber reminder. Today before practice they meet and released balloons with letters attached. Letters to Taigen to tell her just what she meant to them. It was bitter sweet but truly helped start healing hearts for these precious girls.
a true meaning to why we are here and what life is all about.
Taigen accepted Christ in March of this year. We know she is with our Heavenly Father and for that
we rejoice.
