Grace's first year has been fun... She loves it, I still remember when she came home and said she wanted to sign up. Greg and I thought she was kidding! But she has shown us that just when we think we have them figured out they throw us for a loop! She has gotten the hang of it and has impressed us with her being one of the smallest on the team and still getting more than a few rebounds! Go Grace! We are proud of you!

WE WANT SNOW!

We would love to see some snow to play in. Not that we expect any but we can dream! This is the only snow that has been enough to play in since the girls can remember! It wasn't much as you can see but it was enough for a snowman! Well there is still some Winter left so maybe will get lucky!

Grace's Week in Review!

Pictures will have to come later but Grace had a week of 1st!

Monday during gymnastics she did her first backhandspring totally by herself.
She was excited. She actually went to the mat trampoline after practice and just did it. No teacher/spotter... but there she went and after the 30th time she felt sick... I guess she over did it!

And last night she made her first 2 pts in a game. And I know there are no pictures... yet but they will come! I'm not sure who was more thrilled ~ Grace ~ Daddy ~ or Papaw!

Thoughts for Thursday!

I was thinking about how fast time goes by and what 2009 holds in store for the Narrell's.

Just a couple of things that make me want to stop time in it's tracks!

• Grace will go to the Elementary in August.... 3rd grade!!! What? How did that happen?



• Kacey will be 13 in September---- a teenager! I'm sooo not ready!

I've been really sappy lately when I think about Kacey going to college in as few as 5 years... not that I'm rushing her but it reminds me to take every second to enjoy them and let them be little.

Happy Birthday Grace!

Those of you that know my sweet Grace know that her birthday is May 12. But, today we celebrate her one year spiritual birthday! One year ago today, as we were driving to school she began to ask questions and one question lead to the next and on the side of the road she asked Jesus into her heart! Greg and I are so blessed to be able to parent our two beautiful daughters and know that they are born again believers which makes them beautiful on the inside.

It was so cold this morning none of the Narrell's were to excited about getting up! But at least it is Friday... and we have a 3 day weekend waiting!

In october we went to Disney for Fall Break, the slideshow are pictures of the trip!
