The things they say!

Last Saturday night we were all at the Grocery store together....

Buying meat for Greg to smoke!

Me: How many butts do you want?

Greg: 2 or 3!

Me: That's a lot of meat are you sure?

Greg: I want to smoke some ribs too..

Me: Can we make room for Shrimp! (Excellent by the way)

Greg: 3 - get three butts - (off he walks to buy his seasonings)

Grace: Would you stop saying butt people are looking at us.

Me: What? (I look around) no they are not. That is what they are called see read the label

Grace: WHY (big eyes) would they call them that?

Kacey: eye roll ~ laughing!

Me: Because they are made out of the butt of the pig and so that's why they are called Boston butts, it's what we make BBQ out of.

Grace: (eyes big, nose wrinkled) I could have gone my whole life without knowing that.

a few minutes later.. we are on another isle with Greg

Me: I still think we are buying to many butts

Grace: Momma !
