Varsity!!

Kacey's last JV game of the year was supposed to be last night but Johnson cancelled their JV game. Kacey was asked to move up to Varsity to finish the Post season. She knew she wouldn't get to play but was excited to be asked and to keep practicing.

She's been all smiles!

They played at Johnson and I had been told about the atmosphere there... I laughed.. (Sorry Allison) but I guess I should have listened. The only way Arab was allowed to play there was to have Arab Police escort them. So at the beginning of the game when all the players usually run in and practice, they walked in with backpacks and purses/ball bags and put them on the front row behind where they would sit and an Arab Police Office stood by them...

Yep. In the parking lot was 2 Huntsville Police cars and 1 Arab Police Car...

So one of the Arab police stood with Bags the other would escort you to your car if you weren't leaving in a pack... wowsers!

And even if you think it's silly I took pictures of warm ups just because!

The only size shorts that were left were XL so if she ever gets to play she may have to play with one hand and hold her pants up with the other! :-)

anyway, she had fun and she was happy!

I however after not eating lunch and enduring the basketball band in LOUD form and with fighting sinus had to go home and straight to bed. I am weird. I can not sleep unless I'm clean from a hot shower/bath. but I felt so bad so I slept... until about 11:30 then I couldn't sleep even though I tried, so I got up took a HOT bath, washed my hair.... blow dried it. started a load of clothes and unloaded the dishwasher... and played on pinterest...then I could sleep! :-)
