Thursday ~ I am so ready for some calmness! Aren't you? Has your week been crazy as well!
Ours started on Saturday night when I was all excited over a night where we were all going to be at home, TV, football, life was calm and quite... cue the scary music!
Kacey had gone with a friend to a tennis tournament, she didn't play only was there to watch and cheer her on, and for the mall trip afterwards! On their way home she started getting a dull headache, and had been a little dizzy off and on. She has lots of sinus trouble so she thought nothing more of it.. In a span of about 20 minutes I got a text saying come get me, I feel bad to Stephanie calling and saying Paige, she is sick..... She said one minute she was sitting on the couch playing the next laying crying with 103 fever.... WHAT! I was almost there when her mom called and I helped her to the car, all while she was staggering and crying holding her head... We went straight to the ER. She wanted her Daddy ~ literally and so within 15 minutes he had dropped Grace off and was with us...
Strep negative
flu negative
Urinalysis good
They took X-rays and sent her home with Antibiotics, new sinus medicine and fever/pain reducer. I've never seen her that sick... She went home and slept. Fever broke still nursing a headache on Sunday and by Monday was complaining more of throat/stomach pain. So on Tuesday we went to her dr and he was convinced it was Mono but Praise the Lord it was negative so it seems it was a bad sinus infection/and she had a virus, even on Tuesday her tonsils and lymph nodes were swollen and she is still complaining of pain under her shoulder blades, and ribs pray it exits soon and that No other Narrell's inherit the sickness!
