IT!

After an hour of googling every animal in the rodent family...

Beavers

gophers

moles

we have decided IT is a ground hog... A large ground hog...

Me~ no it's not a beaver look the tail is flat the one I saw had a bushy tail

Greg ~ what I saw was not a beaver

Me ~ I don't think it is a gopher either. Maybe a gopher and a beaver got together and that's what we got.

Greg a Bropher or a grover ~ hey I think it is a what's that thing on Feb 2?

so mystery solved, the only problem is after some more googling we found out that Ground hogs are aggressive and will charge if they feel threatened. That makes a momma happy!
