Kacey came home from Team Camp yesterday a worn out and Bruised Kacey.

He had spent 3 nights 4 days in a class room with 13 other girls on a blow up mattress she was so happy to be home! They won 6 - Lost 4.

So glad to have you home Kacey!

Saturday Grace and Micalie participated in Regionals for 4-H.

They Won in County so they were able to advance.

Regionals consist of 10 counties.

They had to have a exhibit and a power point presentation.
They had chosen to focus on Organic vs. Non-organic foods.

These are just the participants for Marshall County.

They represented all categories from Healthy living to sewing, cooking etc....

Receiving their FIRST place ribbons for Regionals... Yes 1st place!

I must say, when they were presenting and being interviewed I was so impressed. You can stay in the room at the front just no contact and you can hear each presentation. I was so impressed with these two and how much they had researched an knew.

From aspartame to MSG, (only they didn't say MSG they knew the real name!) to what they cause and symptoms of reactions from being exposed. I was blown away... When it was over, I asked how on earth did you guys know all that...

Happy Father's Day

We are so blessed to have great Dad's in our life.

We got up really really early to celebrate with Greg. Kacey left for Ball camp around 9. On Father's Day what's up with that?

We had breakfast and gifts before 7.....

Fun facts for Friday!

Just some facts....

Fact: I love flowers....

After a long trying week, it was nice to receive pick me up flowers just because...

They make my heart smile.

Fact: Grace got this 1000 piece puzzle on take your kids to work day... We love puzzles but we've never taken on one so large with so MANY small pieces... We may get this completed before school starts back. Maybe!
Fact: Greg got this frame for Valentines day... I love it don't you?
It says spending time with Dad...
Last night I got to looking at it and thought. Hey those aren't our kids. I can not believe it has been sitting there since Feb and still hasn't got a picture in it...
I might have a picture in it before school starts back!

I might have even went out in the dark last night around 10 and took a picture in the dark with my sleep shirt on just to show you...
Fact: right after I snapped the picture I might have almost broke my neck running back into the house because I heard a car coming down the road.

Fact: Both our girls are camp bound next week, Grace to GA camp and Kacey to Tennessee for Basketball camp. Fact... I need to start packing them!

Last Game!

Bitter sweet the last game

it's been fun and a good year, love seeing my baby and her Dad together.

But it has gotten hot.... Tuesday night was Grace's last game and it was miserable.

My girl had to take her inhaler and was a little sick to her stomach from the heat.
We wrapped our catcher in frog togs under her gear.

The dug out mom/score keeper isn't used to sweating profusely and decided she didn't like it much! Just sayin....
