You know when....

You know when it's Basketball season again
When
~~
Your house smells like Mint from all the gel she is using on sore muscles...
~~
You read on the Internet how to clean basketball shoes without ruining them...
Shoes must stay, smell MUST go!
~~
You buy a Scentsy pot for your child's room to rid the house of sock smell....
~~
Your child can hardly get out of the car in the mornings for the purse, book bag and work out bag she has to carry.... oh yea and a soft cooler loaded with Gatorade. (I am that Mom)
~~
Before you can commit to anything during the week you have to check the crazy practice schedule to see if she has an early or late practice or in the middle
~~
You are washing the same practice uniform again EVERY night!
~~
You see this.... even though her knees are okay we are trying to prevent any Osgood Schalters flare ups...
Yesterday started week 2 of practice.
Pray for a good, no injury, no accident year for the Gnarrell!

Birthday Recap!

We kindof decorated Kacey room for her!
14! Wow!
I think this is where she was saying, Are you going to help me clean this up?
I had made mini dirt cakes for her team, she had late practice so we took it to them after practice and they sang to her.
Then we went to eat for Kacey and Mom's birthdays!
My beautiful lady
I pray all her wishes come true and I pray she stays grounded in her faith and continues to grow strong in her relationship with Christ.
I think she is a pretty special young lady.
Kacey and Paige
Present time.
Proud Grandparents
And sister too!

Excuse my house I had mopped the night before!
Kacey is # 33 and that was my dad's number all through school for basketball and football. She loves it.
Grace got her a snuggy!
Sister Love!
You can't read it but around the basket ball it has I can do all things through Christ who strenghtens me and has scripture on the back.

Hope you had a special day baby girl.
umm, not so much a baby anymore, but always will be mine and her dad's!

I remember before she started school I would always take off work on her birthday and spend the day with her... now she is more busy than we are. We are proud of you Kacey and Love you to the Moon, stars to the Mailbox and back again!

Happy Birthday Kacey!

Happy Birthday Kacey!
We love you!
I can NOT believe you are 14! where has the time gone?

Wonderful Wednesday!

Today I am an emotional basket case!
I am full and it is overflowing..
This has been a good morning...
A morning where I can see God at work so clearly..
where a song can speak to me so loudly....
Today was See you at the Poles, to see my NOT morning girls up and ready early because they don't want to miss it...
To see the front lawn of the elementary full of kids, PRAISING GOD!
For safety reasons the Jr. High had theirs in the gym... Kids streaming in.. Intentional, on mission for Christ, I'm full.... I'm thankful....
To hear two differant people this morning, say are you okay???
and to be able to say, Yes, I'm great, I'm just full!
To live where I am blessed to live
and worship where I'm blessed to worship
I'm blessed to have my wonderful Husband and beautiful girls...
I'm blessed.... I'm thankful and today I'm full

I love this song....
~~
Some of the Lyrics:

Teach me to number my days
And count every moment before it slips away
Taking all the colors before they fade to gray
I don't want to miss even just a second more of this
It happens in a blink
It happens in a flash
It happens in the time it took to look back
I try to hold on tight, but there's no stopping time
What is it I've done with my life
It happens in a blink When it's all said and done
No one remembers how far we have run
The only thing that matters is how we have loved
I don't want to miss even just a second more of this
It happens in a blink it happens in a flash it happens in the time it took to look back
I try to hold on tight but there's no stopping time
What is it I've done with my life It happens in a blink
Slow down, slow down Before today becomes our yesterday
Slow down, slow down Before you turn around and it's too late
It happens in a blink it happens in a flash it happens in the time it took to look back
I try to hold on tight but there's no stopping time
What is it I've done with my life
It happens in a blink

I don't want to miss one precious second of life,
One day when my girls are grown I'll have that spotless house
but for today, this is what matters... this is what counts and I will never get today back.
