What?

Sometimes people say things and you can't figure out exactly what they mean....

This morning when I got to work I was told..

Wow ~ your hair today, you look like some body's mother?

Hmmmm thanks,,,, hmmm who's mother maybe?

Not real sure how to take that one.

Oh, and the same lady told me one day I looked healthy, isn't that another word for plump... hmmm

Arab vs. DAR

Monday was full of activites at the Narrell's. I left work and drove 45 min to DAR then as soon as that game was over we drove 45 to Grace's. Home with Homework and then we passed out! Just another day in paradise!

No other place I'd rather be.

Kacey hit both her foul shots.

Never have I seen a game where my child was on the bench and happy about it. But after the 1st qtr we were ahead 28 to 0 so she was pretty happy to sit!
Congrats girls! 6 and 0 in the regular season play!

Kacey had 6 pts and they won 53 to 4.

Today, Andrea reports back to her base to start her orders for 400 days, she'll be stateside till sometime around the first of the year and she might get to come home for a 3 day furlough at Christmas. Then she'll be stationed in Afghanistan with her missions taking her in and out of Iraq, please pray for this young Mom. For safety and peace as well as comfort as she leaves Shea and Kaylinn and Clay. Please pray for the babies and for Clay as he takes on such a heavy roll. It breaks my heart for them all.

Not Me Monday!

Being Honest and living to tell about it!

NOT ME MONDAY!

I've NOT been gone every night this past week and my house is NOT a disaster zone! NO NOT me!

I am NOT behind on all aspects of house work.

I did NOT actually feel better when I scrubbed bathrooms last night!

It has not been 5 weeks since I last worked a 40 hour week at work. Nope NOT me I am never late/out!

We are Not double booked on most days and I did NOT buy a $28 adapter (the kind that you plug into your cigarette outlet and then plug a regular cord into) for my car this morning so I can charge cameras/video in the car since that is where I live these days. Not me!

I did NOT have to pack my child in ice and heat since she is black and blue. Nope NOT us.

I have NOT been so tired that I've noticed that I'm ill and snappy one minute and weepy the next. NOT me I'm never an emotional crazy Momma!

I am NOT absolutely Sick of washing uniforms and shirts nightly... Since she does NOT have practice Uniform that they've been using since June! No NOT me!

And to save time and energy hunting it since they can not be dried they do NOT constantly hang in my child's room so she can pack her bag every morning... NOPE NOT US!

But given all our craziness at the moment we are NOT so thankful for our health and we do NOT pray daily that our kids are a light to others they come in daily contact with and this is a sport she loves and we pray she always uses it to glorify our heavenly Father.

Weekend in Review

Our girls played so hard this weekend . We are so proud of them. They won 2 and lost the last game of the tournament. They have a lot to be proud of.. We sure are!

Game 1 - Kacey's was matched up against number 55. She was coming in at 6 foot 2"

Kacey did GREAT and played excellent. But at first can you tell by her face she might have been a little intemidated. I thought Kacey was tall!

When Kacey jumped they didn't look as mismatched!

We won Game 1 by Ed White by 20+ points Game 2 we won against Fyffe and lost Game 3 to Merdianville..

We are so proud of our Knight!

Kacey did Great...She played so hard. We got home around 8:30 pm! She has hips that are the prettiest shades of green/black and purple... We are praying her up!

We went to the park Sunday afternoon and I wished I had carried my camera, it was a gorgeous day. We meet some friends and our kids played and took a nature hike and had a scavenger hunt. Our 1 hour park play date turned into a 3 1/2 hour play date that ended at Sonic! We had fun and Kacey and Greg even hit some tennis balls. She just wanted to relax and play so that's what we did. Wrapped up the night with our Awesome AWANA kids. We love Awana's and are so blessed by the kids we get to hang out with!
