Restful or Stressful?

Our weekend was a little of both! Started out with a call on Thursday from Greg! Kacey has two left shoes ~ GREAT! Let me explain on the days Kacey has AAU practice, she doesn't come home she takes her clothes to change into and after school when Greg picks her up she is ready to go straight to practice with sandwich in hand we pack ahead of time. Don't let the pretend face of organization fool you something always happens to make it interesting. Thursday when Greg picked her up she had picked up 2 left basketball shoes, only at the Narrell's would a girl have two pair of basketball shoes to even mix up. This being said it was not our night to carpool so Greg drops her off to meet her ride, and has some errands to run. I race home get the right shoe and race to the gym which is across from the lake and when we walk in the whole gym says There's the other shoe, she is playing in her ankle brace one shoe and her sock, she comes up grabs the shoe and was mumbling under her breathe ~ Thanks Mom ~ so Grace and I took a stroll to work off some stress!

The Narrell's have new field lines nothing to brag about no, but it sure makes you realize what you take for granted....

In all the choas, we lost a tooth!

Dad felt sorry for us and cut up our tree, Thanks Dad!

And now the stump is also gone!

Wonder if my yard will ever look the same :-)

Sunday night wind!

Did you hear the wind Sunday night? We sure did! We are fortunate the apple tree wasn't larger! We have some cleanup to do ~ 2 trees and lots of limbs but that is okay! I was sad it was my apple tree, but it could have been much worse. And nights like that I'm so thankful we had the pines around the house cut.

I don't know about you but I'm ready for some sunshine and for these storms to take a hike!

Thank goodness it's Friday! Even if!

Even if I'm at work when most get Good Friday off! I'm thankful we have jobs.
Thank goodness it's Friday even if I had to get ready by Candle lite this morning.
I'm thankful the storm only knocked our power off and that is the worst thing I can say about the morning.
I'm thankful for the sweet 7 year old that's first words (as the power went off and Greg and I were hunting candles) that shows up in the hall rubbing eyes with that bedhead saying do I need to find my shoes? (one of our tornado precautions). I'm thankful for the family time we had this morning before we had to face the world today... I'm thankful for the I love you Mommies and you are the best.
When Grace saw her clothes this morning, capri's t-shirt and jacket that goes with the capri's ~ She said and you get me summer clothes when it's raining and cold...
And when I found clothes that didn't need ironing and clipped my hair up, and Kacey says you going like that? hmmm yep!
Just another day in paradise! No other place I'd rather be~
