Easter Eggs!

Last night the girls had fun decorating eggs for Easter!

Not Me Monday!

I don't know about you but I am just thrilled with this weather and the fact I do not have to cover some of my plants tonight because they have bloom buds on them and I do want to lose them to an April 6th freeze!

I did NOT spend Saturday cleaning the outside of my house ~ mowing/washing the siding and neglecting the inside. So I did NOT leave a sink full of dirty dishes at my home this morning when I came to work. I would NEVER do that, I'm the queen of organized and that would just be nasty!

I do NOT have laundry to catch up on because I am NOT OUT of laundry detergent. I mean I do NOT go to Wally world twice a week so what excuse would I have for running out.

I did NOT paint my hall yesterday on the Sabbath. :-(

My husband is still NOT working to much and to hard and he is just the picture of Sunshine!

I did NOT forget to go by the church Saturday and take the can goods to TESA. I do NOT forget things. I'm not that crazy... I'm totally in control!

And this past week during storms I would NEVER take one of my kids on the road for a basketball practice. What kind of Mom do you think I am. I did NOT assume the storms were to the north of us and think we were clear to get to practice and find out it was NOT cancelled and while leaving the parking lot my honey did NOT call and say you can't come home it is too bad stay put. So Kac and I did NOT go to factory connection and spend to much time and money until we were called with an all clear to go home. I would never to that.

Today is Papaw Narrell's birthday.

Had he still been alive he would have had an Orange cake with orange icing

to eat... He would have smiled shaken his head and said you shouldn't have done that...

Quiet ~ a man of few words but would move heaven and earth for his family. Even those

adopted in.. Papaw was the glue of the family! Happy Birthday Papaw, we miss you!

I'm so thankful it is Friday! What a week!

Grace's SAT's are in the books! Kacey still has another week to go, including today.

So this morning we picked up these Men to go to school with Grace ~

Donut Men. She loves them and if you have never been to Papa's daylight donuts before school on any morning well be thankful. It is a crowded happening place at 7 am! Today Grace's class is having a free/game party day in celebration of SAT's ending.

The joys of being young ~ Kacey's reward for SAT's ending. Regular Test! I didn't want to tell her that is only the beginning!

Thursday's thoughts!

just another day in paradise! ~ Last night Kacey is in the bathtub and I hear Momma where is the soap? What, I thought (can't they do anything without asking where it is)... (just honest) Momma where is the shampoo. What? So I go look and sure enough not in there. hmmm we used them yesterday and I know everything isn't suddenly out. So I look in the kitchen (I know it shouldn't be in there but at this point I think I've lost my mind. After about 10 minutes and my sighing telling Kacey I don't know I guess you could use dish washing liquid ~ she was not impressed. Grace finally comes clean she had hide EVERYTHING as an April's fool joke. she had already gotten her bath and I didn't think to check with her about it. Why that angel I'm sure she would never be behind anything like that. Anyway after we pull everything back out and I we go back to her room she laughs and giggles and whispers Momma I hide everything in Daddy's shower too. I thought oh.. See Greg had worked at work for 10 hours and came home and landed in the recliner working on a setup sheet ever since. I was thinking he might not be as amused as I after such a long day. So I was a trader and went and let him know that he might want to make sure he has all his stuff before he gets in the shower. So he took a break before Grace went to sleep to go check and sure enough, razor/shaving cream/soap/shampoo everything GONE! She might be little but she is good!
