Tuesday!

I've gotten pretty lax on posting.  We've been spread pretty thin and honestly haven't had the time or energy to post!  Sad huh!  I am truly going to try to do better though.  Friday was our last night of VBS.  It was a great week and we are so thankful for how smooth and great it went.  We had three professions of faith and one other that has since asked to talk.  Seeds have been planted and we are so thankful.

Saturday was my sweet Daddy's 69th birthday.  I took pictures but I have misplaced my camera so pictures to come.  I HOPE!

Saturday night we spent 4 plus hours at the hospital with a church family who's son wreaked his bike and he had to have surgery on his leg. 

Sunday we had family night and I must admit these past few weeks have really caught up with me.  Yesterday we delivered the VBS boat back to it's home and mowed and tried to catch up on Laundry.

Looking forward to some down time and some family time.  I can't believe school starts back in 3 weeks!  Where has this summer gone?
We've got to get busy school shopping and enjoying what's left of sweet summertime!

A glimpse of our week!

Monday night was about the Roman Officer coming to Faith in Christ and we learned No Matter Who you Are Trust God!

Tuesday we Learned about Lazurus and learned No Matter How you feel - Trust God!

Wednesday we learned about what Jesus went through for us and we Learned No Matter what people do - Trust God!

Kacey is helping with skits and leading music!  Way out of her comfort zone but she is doing great!

Tonight we finished the story of what Jesus went through for us and how he was willing too just for you and I.  This week Greg and I have led Bible story classes each night for four groups.  It's been a full but great week.  We've had 60 plus children and lots of new faces in our church.

Happy Family!

Today we were in the Chiropractor's office.  Kacey was there for sinus/headaches.  We were talking and laughing when the Dr came in and he stood there a minute just smiling and finally said.  What a happy little family.  I don't get to see that a lot. 

It made my heart smile, we are often NOT that family and what a reminder, you are always being watched.  It's up to us to decide if we are going to be someone worth watching!

Six Months....

We've been at Mountain View six months today, they voted on the 15th and we started on the 18th.  Six months ago, I wasn't sure what this would look like or feel like.  I can now say it feels really good.  We are happy and content and we feel like were home.  I can't explain it except that God truly has his hand on our family and we are where we are meant to be right now.  We still miss friends but our hearts have been changed and Change we are finding is not always bad, sometimes it can be down right good!  ;-)

• Tonight we went door to door handing our flyer's for VBS for next week.  Kacey's group went to the first house and she and some other youth were met at the door with a gun....  Once he found out who they were it was fine but she has a story.
• She also met and atheist - A lot for a small town country girl to think on! 

So here is to the next six months and six days, six years or sixty years, where ever whatever and whenever.  One day at a time!  Learning to Trust and Bloom where we are planted!

Happy Wednesday

Our weekend!

Friday we picked up some VBS stuff from a sister church and delivered them to Mountain View.  Kacey and Koda helped!  Grace was still at her spend the night companies house!

Afterwards, we ate and I wasn't feeling 100% so I feel asleep on the couch and sleep around 13 plus hours.  I didn't get up until 11:30 on Saturday.  It's been years since I've done that but I did feel better!

 Saturday night we met at Mtn. View to decorate and we had a VBS dry run and pizza party.  We had fun and stayed longer than anyone had planned, complete with lots of experiment fun in the parking lot with vinegar and baking soda.  VBS is going to be a blast!

Sunday we swam and napped!  I have caught up on some sleep this weekend!  Church and food and some sweet family time.  Tonight Kacey had basketball and Greg worked on the cross for VBS.  Grace and I bathed the puppy and did some house work!

Just another day in Paradise!  No other place I'd rather be!

Part of Our Week!

On Monday I participated in Ladies night at Mtn View.  We wrapped up an Esther bible study by Beth Moore and ended it with a movie about Esther (A night with the King) and pedicures. 

My pictures are out of order but when I got home we looked through some Annuals and it was a hoot!

Grace has been going to FBCUG vacation bible school this week.  All except for Wednesday.  She choose to go to Mtn View on Wednesday and that makes my heart smile.  We are settled.

We've not see a lot of rain lately and Wednesday night and Thursday was a rainy day...  Rain Rain and more rain.    Thursday Kacey had her first driving part of driver's Ed, in the pouring down rain, she did Great, but the rain made her a little nervous.  My view on a rainy Thursday.

Hope you've had a blessed week!  Tonight Kacey is at Abigail's and Grace went home from VBS with Alyssa one of her friends she took with her tonight.  It should be a quiet night.  Greg is at Mtn View working and I was just about to enjoy a quiet night at home alone!  But when your smallest invites someone to VBS you should probably make sure you tell her the right time to be there!  Then I ran to Mom's to pick up some veggies and then Kacey called and needed a form she left for driver's ed tomorrow so my nice quiet night got started around 9 instead of 5:30..  Oh well.  One day we're gonna miss this!  -  

Tuesday!

Today the girls went with Dad to get Molly's shots and ended up bringing home a puppy.

Last night after coming to the sad realization that we've let summer slip by and not scheduled vacation and we will not be able to do mountains/tubing and Beach this year we voted on a destination.  Beach won.  I'm okay with it but a little sad. 

The new puppy loves the cat, the cat Hates the puppy!

He stays in the pen around back but they leave him out to play a lot too!

They let him hang out tonight on the screened in porch and watch movies.

We had a visitor tonight singing to us as well!
